1. Introduction and Developer Identity
This Privacy Policy explains how ADAMBULETTE ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use the AA Dispatch (also known as A A Dispatch) mobile application (the "App") and our related medical dispatch services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal data. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Real-Time & Background Location Services
To provide reliable medical transportation, routing, and dispatching services, the AA Dispatch (or A A Dispatch) App collects precise and approximate location data of drivers. This tracking is a core requirement of our service:
- Real-Time Tracking: We collect location coordinates to allow office administrators and dispatchers to monitor active routes, track trip progress, and coordinate patient pickups.
- Background Location: The App collects location data even when the app is closed or not in use (running in the background). This is necessary to ensure the automated dispatch scheduler can match the closest available driver to a patient trip and to update estimated arrival times (ETA) dynamically.
- Driver Control: You can enable or disable location tracking via your mobile device settings. Please note that if you deny or disable location permissions, the App will not be able to function correctly, and you will not be able to receive trip assignments.
- No Sharing for Ads: Your location data is solely used for operational dispatching, navigation, and billing verification. We do not share or sell your location details to third parties for advertising or marketing.
3. Other Data We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and optimize medical transportation services. This includes:
- Patient pickup/drop-off locations and contact details.
- Driver user profiles (name, email, phone number, vehicle details, and credentials).
- Trip and job timestamps (start, pickup, drop-off, and completion times).
- Device information and app activity logs for troubleshooting.
4. Data Retention Policy
We store and retain your personal and operational data for as long as your account is active, or as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:
- Account & Profile Data: Retained for the duration of your active relationship with ADAMBULETTE.
- Location Coordinates & Logs: Retained for operational history, route verification, and billing audits for a period of up to 1 year, unless a longer retention period is required to comply with legal, regulatory (e.g., medical transport audits), or tax obligations.
- Archived Backups: System backups and server logs may be retained securely for up to 90 days after active deletion before being permanently overwritten.
5. Data Deletion and Account Deletion Request
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time. To request data deletion:
- How to Request: You can submit a deletion request by emailing us directly at office@adambulette.com. Alternatively, drivers and staff can request account and data deletion through their registered company or agency administrator.
- Process: Upon receiving and verifying your request, we will deactivate your account and permanently delete or anonymize your personal data (including profile information, location history, and credentials) from our active databases within 30 days.
- Exceptions: We may retain certain transactional or historical logs (such as completed trip records, billing records, or incident reports) as required by healthcare laws, state transportation guidelines, or for legal and auditing compliance.
6. Information Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures, including data encryption (in transit and at rest) and secure role-based access controls, to ensure the confidentiality of patient and driver information.
7. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or lease your data to third parties. Information is only shared with relevant healthcare partners and medical dispatch staff directly involved in the patient's transportation process, or as required by law.
8. Updates
We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technological advancements, or legal requirements. Please check this page regularly for the latest information.
